1What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us see whether our adverts work.
2Essential cookies
On this website, we remember your cookie choice in local storage, not in a cookie. Inside the docket app, essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your settings. None are used for analytics or advertising, so they do not need your consent.
The free certificate expiry tracker and Christmas shutdown checklist save what you enter in this browser’s local storage (docket-cert-tracker and docket-shutdown-checklist). It never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time.
3Functional cookies
When you download a resource, we set one cookie, docket-visitor, which remembers you so download forms ask fewer questions next time. It holds a random code, no personal details, and lasts 1 year. If you accept cookies, we also set docket-source, which records how you first reached the site (the site that linked you here, any advert or campaign tags in the link, and the first page you saw), so if you book a call we know how you found us. It holds no personal details and lasts 90 days. We only set docket-visitor if you have not chosen Essential only, and docket-source only after you accept. Choosing Essential only removes them.
4Advertising measurement
4.1 We use a Google Ads tag to see whether our adverts lead to visits and bookings. It only runs if you agree to it.
4.2 Google processes this data in the United States.
5Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
The cookies we use
App cookies confirmed from the docket code on 29 September 2026. The app also sets short-lived cookies that show a one-off message after an action, and last a few seconds.
