Snap the sheet. Job closed.
The engineer photographs the completed job sheet or certificate. docket reads it, closes the task, flags any remedial work written on a job sheet for you to approve, and files it against the right site and asset. Certificates are filed and their expiry dates tracked.
Right now, the paperwork waits in the van.
Job sheets come back at the end of the week, if they come back at all.
Somebody types them up, or nobody does, and the job stays open on the system.
The further work the engineer wrote on the sheet never gets raised.
How it works
What’s in it
Straight answers.
Do engineers need to download an app?
No. docket works in the browser on any phone. Nothing to install.
Does a photo create a new job?
No. Photo capture closes work. New jobs come in through your intake address, the client portal, or you.
What happens if it finds further work?
It flags the remedial work against the site and asset for you to approve, so nothing written on the sheet gets lost.
Do engineers count as paid users?
Yes. Anyone who logs in counts, office or field. Subcontractor logins, and client logins when the clients are other organisations, are free and never counted.
